खबरें दिल्ली पुलिस(SPUWAC) has been organising self defence training programmes, under the “Sashakti” Scheme of Delhi Police By admin Posted on October 19, 20192 min read0 0 27 Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ Share on Reddit Share on Pinterest Share on Linkedin Share on Tumblr New Delhi : The Special Police Unit for Women and Children (SPUWAC) has been organising self defence training programmes, under the “Sashakti” Scheme of Delhi Police, for girls/women in Delhi since 2002 with an aim to empower them and in order to ensure safety and security of Women in Capital.A training session of Self Defence Techniques with the collaboration of Department of Education GNCT was held from 14.10.2019 to 18.10.2019 to empower 700 female teachers of Delhi Government. The function was organized at Tyagraj Stadium. In the concluding session, chief guest Ms. Nuzhat Hassan, Spl. CP/WS S&S motivated participants and boost up their morale. During her address she inspired all participating teachers to be physically and mentally fit to deal with any crises situation. She further expressed that a total 1308938 girls/women participants have been benefited in Self Defence Techniques so far in the Capital. She also distributed certificate of participation to the participants. Ms. Romi Johri, Asstt. Director Education further appreciated the efforts made by SPUWAC to train the female teachers in Self Defence Techniques and to make aware regarding the safety and security measures. On this occasion a pamphlet of Himmat plus App and Material relates to women safety and security were also distributed to the participants.Overall, the endeavour of Delhi Police is to ensure that the women of the city are not only safe and secure but, also to empower in every sense of the word and the SPUWAC has been working towards this goal staunchly.
