Consular Corps India Celebrates Consular Day 2026

President Mr. K.L Ganju, o.c.v.c (cdr.), Members of Board of Directors of Honorary Consular Corps Diplomatique-India Organised a soirée to celebrate Consular Day 2026 make a short heading

In recognition of Consular Day, an evening was organised in New Delhi, India by Honorary Consular Corps Diplomatique–India to acknowledge and bestow awards to NGO and Hon’ble Hony. Consuls, who have done excellent work in developing Consular Activities and bilateral relations.

The gathering witnessed the momentous felicitation of Vivek Burman (Dabur) Peace Prize that was presented to VANVASI RAKSHA PARIVAR FOUNDATION, NEW DELHI

On this occasion, Mr. K.L Ganju, President (HCCD-India) addressed that the pivotal role being played by Honorary Consuls in India in facilitating consular services while strengthening diplomatic, economic and cultural ties between the sending and receiving countries.

The Chief Guest for the evening was Dr. Shashi Tharoor, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) and Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on External Affairs.

 The event was also graced by Guest of Honour H.E. Mr. Alem Tsehaye Woldemariam, Ambassador of the State of Eritrea and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, along H.E. Maj. Gen. Vetsop Namgyel, Ambassador of Bhutan and Deputy Dean of the Diplomatic Corps.

Ambassadors, High Commissioners and Honorary Consuls from across India participated in the celebration. Officials from the Ministry of External Affairs and distinguished members of the diplomatic community and Delhi’s prominent social circles were also present at the event.
